What we have done
- Every photograph has a text description, and the curated library was written with alt text from the start.
- Everything works with a keyboard, including the full-screen viewer (arrow keys to move, Escape to close, + and − to zoom) and the horizontal rows, which also have previous and next buttons.
- Mouse-edge gliding is an extra, never the only way to reach anything.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, scroll animation, gliding and the background video are switched off.
- Text meets contrast requirements against its background, and focus is always visible.
- Forms have labels, describe their errors, and announce results.
Known limitations
Members write their own alt text, and some community images may have brief descriptions. We review them as part of moderation.
